Data Science for Social Good Fellow

Sana is a research fellow through UBC’s Data Science for Social Good Program. She is currently pursuing a BSc in cognitive systems with a minor in data science and is passionate about machine learning and data science through the lens of ethical social impact. Sana was previously a Machine Learning Fellow at the AI4Good Lab with the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute, and is currently serving as an AI Strategy and Compliance Assistant with Nautical Crime Investigation Services. As a DSSG Fellow, Sana is committed to leveraging equitable and responsible data-driven solutions.
